Improves Mental Health and Strengthens Your Community

Despite the fact that 1 in 5 people in the US will experience a mental illness at some point in their life, there is still a strong social stigma that prevents people from seeking the help they need. By the time that they do seek help, they often end up in an Emergency Room that is already too full.

This exclusive app and all of its resources is available for you to bring to your clients. Customize it with your branding and local resources, and use the beautiful and easy to use interface to bring the best mental health resource to your clients and their children.

About Us

NAMI San Diego is the leading provider of mental health support in San Diego County. Via hundreds of support groups, mental health classes and technology education; multi-language phone support; anti-stigma efforts; legislative advocacy; and online and physical resources, NAMI San Diego assists a wide and diverse population of those suffering from mental illness, their family and friends, and mental health professionals.

NAMI San Diego has consistently embraced technology to get mental health resources to people who need them through social media, online education and outreach, live chat help, and mobile applications such as oscER Jr., developed for families and friends supporting a loved one during a psychiatric crisis.

In June 2016, NAMI San Diego released oscER (Organized Support Companion in an Emergency Room), a mobile application designed by mental health professionals, emergency room doctors, and individuals suffering from mental illness. oscER jr. is the version of oscER built for children, and will provide emergency guidance and helpful resources to children who are relatives or friends of an individual suffering from a mental illness.
